About
Borambola is an Aboriginal name derived from the Bora Ceremony at which young men were initiated as a prelude to recognition as full-grown men. The Bora Ring is the sacred ground where the initiation rites are observed. The philosophy of Borambola Wines is to grow the best grapes, to make the best wines with regional expression utilizing organic and environmental best practice, combining the traditional “old wine world” wine making methods with the technology of the “new wine world".

NV Premium Sparkling – VIIl This Sparkling is a Blanc d blanc style. Designed for aperitif, Christmas drinks, it is fresh clean & crisp. Think smoked salmon & oysters. The wine is produced from premium Chardonnay (100%) grapes sourced from the Orange region.
2008 Chardonnay – Bunya Bunya (Hand picked) Produced from premium Chardonnay (100%) grapes grown in the Borambola vineyard, An elegant wine of exemplary quality typical of the unique Gundagai region.
2010 Sauvignon Blanc – Wishing Well Spell The wine is produced from premium Sauvignon Blanc (100%) grapes grown in the Orange region. The Borambola Sauvignon Blanc exhibits the generous complexity of fruit expected from a good vintage.
2007 Cabernet Sauvignon – Moonlight Produced from premium Cabernet Sauvignon (100%) grapes grown in the Borambola vineyard. Displaying an abundance of classic Cabernet flavours and oak characteristics from aging in French oak barrels. This wine is well balanced and ready to enjoy now but will develop with careful cellaring. The colour is a lovely red plum that will deepen with age.
2007 Shiraz – Hiraji’s Spell The wine is produced from premium Shiraz (100%) grapes grown in the Borambola vineyard. The Borambola Shiraz exhibits the generous complexity of fruit expected from a good vintage.
2008 Shiraz Cabernet Merlot – The Quarrel The wine is produced from premium Shiraz & Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the Borambola vineyard and 6%cool climate Merlot. This wine has great regional characters of bright plums and brambly fruits. This wine has fine grained well integrated tannins and has a lingering finish.
