Micah house operated in Tarcutta Street for seven and a half years, up until the end of July 2000. New premises have now been opened at 53 Gurwood Street, Wagga Wagga.
This is a special works of The Society of St Vincent De Paul, a non-government organisation.
We have Management Committee of local members, a part-time coordinator and a group of volunteers.
We aim to develop a model of Care and Support for the lonely those who are disadvantaged and homeless in our community and district.
We have a commitment to “let people be” where they are at in their personal life and a willingness to “walk with them” at least for some of the way along the path their life takes.
